@gundrag000 It would sound differently to each person that saw this vid…that’s not part of a headset review. Want to hear it? Buy it…but buy it after you’ve read multiple reviews.

Will the mic work with mac?

  • webzcom on April 6, 2010

@ginowowful – Yes, but no surround sound. Just basic stero but yes they work. Tested on OSX 10.6.2.

    @webzcom
Alright so i get basic stereo sound and the microfon also works nice!

  • webzcom on April 6, 2010

@ginowowful – Sorry, yes the microphone works too.

hows the bass sound on a distant mortar explosion?

im on the look for a new headset and looking for some BIG BASS for explosions and deep sounds in games.

100$ is about 30$ more than i want to spend but i might take the chance on these as logitech has never let my expectations down.

  • ginowowful on April 11, 2010

I got mine today i plugged it in my imac but it the stereo doesn’t work do i need to put in a specific usb port?

  • webzcom on April 11, 2010

@ginowowful – No, I did the same thing until somebody else pointed this out. Go to “System Prefrences” > “Sound” then make the selections for the G35 for input and output. The iMac does not automatically switch to the headset.

@webzcom wow thx DUDE UR AWESOME!

  • CrackerAssHillbilly on April 18, 2010

ive watched a boat load of videos and read a truck load of reviews on this headset and nobody talks about the bass :(

so my question is how is the bass? does it have really good low’s for “whooming” sounds like a distant mortar shell going off? i really enjoy the deep bass because it helps suck me in the game and makes for more enjoyable play.

  • webzcom on April 18, 2010

@CrackerAssHillbilly – In my opinion the G35 has good bass but I can only compare to a couple of other headsets including the Turtle Beach P21. Hope this helps.

  • Pitanga990 on April 20, 2010

@CrackerAssHillbilly the headset is truly great mate. ive had it for a while now and i have had no problems with it. the surround works on every games i have. battlefield,left4dead2,GTA IV, Need for speed shift and lots of other.
the Bass is really good. if you have that bass in a normal regular headset, the bass would blew that shit up. iam 100% happy with G35

This is very limited review. What about noise when you got it on? Do they use sound card or they only rely on their software? The quality of a headset??? …..

  • webzcom on April 24, 2010

@Pado101 – No sound card, no noise. Just plug it in to a USB port. You will need the Windows drivers to get the simulated 7.1 surround sound on games that support it. This a good qaulity headset and I used it almost everyday on my Windows 7 64-bit PC.

  • Pado101 on April 27, 2010

@webzcom They are good for computers without sound card. If you got lets say X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro like I do than this headset dont use the power of that soundcard. For me this is not an option. I think that is very important to say.

  • webzcom on April 28, 2010

@asianguy207 – @asianguy207 -You might want to check out the Turtle Beach P21. I bought a pair and they are OK.

I wonder if the Logitech g35 has a good sound quality and works well in Call of Duty 6?

  • GreatestHooligan on May 8, 2010

@webzcom How’s the surround sound result using it on Blu ray movies played on PC/Laptop? Please respond.

  • webzcom on May 8, 2010

@GreatestHooligan – The sound for Blu Ray movies on my PC was great!

  • eduvc123 on May 11, 2010

I think it doesn’t work on the PS3 because there’s a firmware issue… Sony didn’t program the sound to come out of the USB ports instead of the TV… Which they should have… I’m pretty sure it’s possible and I wish they would release that feature soon.

    I bought a pair, and I’m LOVING IT !!

  • juanadiebold759682 on May 18, 2010
