Surround HeadphonesTurtle Beach Headphone – Surround Sound
I’m going to buy a Turtle Beach Headphone, but my sound card is a regular realtech on board card can I use 5.1 ch. headphones or will I need to upgrade my sound card.
Please tell me how to check if they will work.

You can not get 5.1 channel surround sound from a single analog stereo headphone output. If your on-board sound card has three separate jacks for front, center/sub, and rear channels (usually colored orange, black and dark green), then you can get a surround sound headset like the Turtle Beach HPA2:

As an alternative, you could technically opt for a 5.1/7.1 "virtualized" surround sound setup using the Turtle Beach DSS surround sound processor:
